Gravity

   It’s a peculiar situation, a perplexing obligation
And I find myself staring in an empty well
   It’s a meaningful sensation, an above-standard deviation
And it’s pulling me closer to a padded cell
There’s no denying that old Isaac knew a thing or two about the power
that’d prove once again to be the foil of man

   CHORUS
Gravity is dragging me down again
But I don’t mind being on my back every now and then
Gravity is bringing me down to earth
But I don’t mind lying in the grass for what it’s worth

   It’s a reflexive instigation, a scientific fascination
And I don’t feel compelled to say no anymore
It’s an implicit explanation, an irresistible temptation
And I can’t stop myself from coming back for more
There’s no denying even Adam knew a thing or two about the power that’d
prove once again to be the foil of man
